QUESTION 1: HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
Good day my fellow steemians. when I initially registered with this great platform called "steemit.com" the first activity I did was to retrieve all my keys from steemit and saved them in my Google account for the sole purpose of security and because of how important they were as regards to my overall transactions on the steemit platform.
QUESTION 2: DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?
For the purpose of security as regards to protecting users of the steemit platforms, there are keys that have been initiated to carryout these course, they are;
(a)posting key: the criteria for this type of key allows the user to carryout only social activities like chatting, commenting, liking posts e.t.c. on the steemit platform. The posting key does not give any user the liberty to switch or sign in with a different account. It can be used by a third party.
(b) memo key: this type of key is usually used in relation to private message or encrypted messages. Although no messages in the steemit platform are not encrypted, however during the process of transferring your STEEM coin from your wallet to any exchange, the memo can play a role here.
(C)owner key: this key enables almost every activity on the steem platform ranging from chatting, commenting and even changing the actual key of your account but has no control over private messages or can't carryout the function of a memo key.
(D)active key: this key allows for every activity on the steemit site asides the ability of changing the owners key.
QUESTION 3: HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTERS PASSWORD?
Amidst all these keys we should not forget about the Masters password which is used to generate the document containg the above keys mentioned and which I also stored in my Google drive.
QUESTION 4: HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?
In doing this, first of all open your steemit account,click on wallet, when it opens you can see steem options. Click the particular steem option that allows you transfer your STEEM with your own choice.
QUESTION 5: HOW TO POWER UP?
This is very simple, open your steem account. next click on wallet. Immediate a new page appears click on steem option then click on power up. Then a page comes up where u can power up.
