Achievement 2 @danie2funny

Good day everyone. I just recently completed my achievement 1 and right now i want to shoot my shot on achievement 2 with the task: Basic security on steem. First of all, we all know how important security is in our world today. People always secure things that are of value to them. Things ranging from cash, priced possessions such as exotic cars and jewelries. The list is endless. The amount of security placed on a commodity or item shows just how much you value such commodity and that is also how it is here on steemit.

I have come to know more about steemit and how valuable it is. Steemit is priceless, its like the saviour of many people in the world today and that is why we need to be more secure with our accont detail especially the keys. The steemit keys are like our house keys. Without them we can't have access to our accounts and just as we have different keys that opens different doors in our homes, so do we have different steemit keys that play different roles and functions in our accounts.

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes indeed!!! That was the very first thing i did. Though when i did it i wasn't so sure why i had to take it so serious but my friend that introduced me @chrisdsteemsports made sure i did it correctly. He laid emphasis on how important they were and when i subscribed to the newcomer's community, i had a better understanding of everything.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes i do. I know each of the keys, their functions and restrictions. I know that the posting key is more of the regular key we use in our day 2 day activities here on steemit. Activities such as posting, commenting, editing, voting, resteeming, and following or to mute other accounts.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

The master password is the most important of all keys, so important that even if you loose the rest it can be used to regenerate them back. I took my time to write it down in my account passwords book and my journal. I have two laptops and 3 mobile phone so i made sure i had a copy of my steemit keys pdf file in all these devices. My journal is always safe but to be on the much safer side, i wrote it down in some other personal books i own so that should incase anything happens, i always have a way of getting it back

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes i now know. It was confusing at first because anytime i went to my wallet i only saw the figures and i didn't understand how to do the transfers. But i consulted my friend @chrisdsteemsports and he guided me through the steps and now i can perform any transaction using the respective keys without stress. Below are the steps
*first go to your wallet and click on steem

• click on steem (the little down ward arrow by the right) after that click on transfer. Here's what is should look like

*put in the beneficiary's username
*amount of steem to be sent
*and finally your memo which is one of the keys

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes i know how to power up. After winning some steems in contests i participated in, i didsome power ups to increase my steem power (i do call it steem influence). Below are steps to do it
*go to your wallet

*click on steem, click on power up, put in the amount of steem you want (you must have it in your wallet first) then click on the green button and that's it.
