Achievement 2- Basic steemit security

Hello wonderful people, I hope we all had a good Christmas day celebration after my achievement one verification I was advised to proceed with achievement and I just did that and this achievements will help us to know how avoid misplacing our keys and what it keys stands for.

Did you get all the keys

Yes I got all my keys and I downloaded it and also save it using my goggle drive device and as a draft in my yahoo mail so as to get it when in need easily.

Question 2

Do you apprehend every of those key functions and restrictions?

Yes, I know all the keys both with their functions and also their restrictions and I will be making brief explanation of them below.

• Posting key

• Active key

• memorandum key

• Owner key

• master key

• Posting Key
  This is very important key because it help me in accessing my steemit account and even when I am to do transaction It is with it that I can access my wallet it also help when I want to upvote content, comment and post too.

• private Active Key
  This is another key and it functions is for it to help in completing transactions before a transaction is being completed this key is always required transaction such as transferring of funds and also powering up of funds.

• Owner Key
  We make use of this key to be able to change other it incase the account is temper by hackers or the individual expose it to another person.

• Memo Key
  We use this when we are doing transaction here we put what is the transaction purpose and it is also important because it help to know reasons for transactions.

• Master Key
  The master key is being used to recover all the other keys, it is also from the master key that we can download other keys it is a very secret key. And should not be exposed.

How does one decide to keep your master password?

From my explanation of what the master key us it is one of the key that should never be exposed because of how important it is and by this i decided to keep it in my usb drive and my goggle drive writting it out too in a small note and hide it only in a place known to me.

Do you shrewdness to transfer your steem token to a different steem user account?

Yes I do and I am going to tell you

The first thing to do is to enter the steemitwallet.

After this you click on the arrow that is pointing down to see other options

Click on transfer and fill in the beneficiary

Put your private keys and the fund will be transferred

Do you have shrewdness to power up your STEEM?

Yes, I know how to power up my steem to steem power
First open steemitwallet with your posting key

Click on the arrow

Click on power up and put amount of steem

Put your private active key and power up will be done.
