Hello Friends of Steemit!
Today I am going to carry out the task of achievement # 3: Content etiquette . which I think is the most important to make life on the platform. This task completed after that you know verry well whats plagiarism and brain concept ,how to use another publications with authority.
01 - What is the Plagiarism?
Stealing words or ideas from others and not recognizing them in any way, therefore, is a copyright infringement of a work that arises from copying without permission.
Among the most common types of plagiarism are the following:
A) Mosaic plagiarism:
this refers to the common plagiarism used among students who base their works on others, using synonyms in some cases, to "change" in some way the works that demonstrate or exemplify theirs without their corresponding citation or respect for the work. original.
B) Complete plagiarism:
you incur in the use of any work and award it as your own.
C) Self-plagiarism:
it results in the use of any previous idea of your own and then be used as new in another area, even if it is ours, it had already been created and used, this must already be cited as a personal and particular work at any time of its later use.
D) accidental plagiarism
Unintentional theft is the act of failing to properly respect another person's ideas, and research, words, if they are not intended to be your own. if it is unintentional, it is still theft and is unacceptable.
02 - In this platform we can copy text or images from another source that is not our property?
Here is steemit if you can copy texts or images that are not our property, but we must place the source of the original author of the content we want to copy.
If we want to cite the source of an author we must place the sign (>), leave a space and place the text that we want to copy, if we copy the text without making any alteration in it we must place the sentence in source marks, as follows:
Taj Mahal, also spelled Tadj Mahall, mausoleum complex in Agra, western Uttar Pradesh state, northern India. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahān (reigned 1628–58) to immortalize his wife Mumtaz Mahal (“Chosen One of the Palace”), who died in childbirth in 1631, having been the emperor’s inseparable companion since their marriage in 1612. India’s most famous and widely recognized building, it is situated in the eastern part of the city on the southern (right) bank of the Yamuna (Jumna) River. Agra Fort (Red Fort), also on the right bank of the Yamuna, is about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the Taj Mahal.
03- How should the sources be placed?
If we want to insert sources of some text or image in our publication, we must add the following formula:
[Source ](put the link)
In this way we will have a more organized post and free to commit any infringement due to plagiarism, here on the steemit platform it is extremely important to do this in order to continue publishing and growing.
The following items are some ways to avoid
plagiarism:
• Make a review of the topic to study or address.
• Read several publications on the subject and choose the approach with which the subject is going to be raised from your critical point of view.
• Quote and clearly state the origin of the resources used for your work.
• Take the time to use the different free resources on the Internet to verify that your work is not plagiarism, for this, simply place a summary or part of your work in the search engine and there you will see, if your work can be published or not .
After completed achievement 3 i know what is plagiarism and how to reduce and how to protect from plagiarism.
futher more i will put the remarks bellow
"I have read and fully understood the Steemit label in the Steemit community and will do my best to adopt them."
