Achievement 2 : Basic Security on Steem by @dawan92 .

Hello friends!

This is my second achievement , in it I hope to show what I know about the keys of the platform, and a little about the use of the wallet.

When starting on this platform, the first thing we receive is a set of keys through a PDF file, but why so many keys? Steemit has attached great importance to the security of each user, making the platform's security more complex, guaranteeing our information.

01 - How to keep my Steem account secure and retrieve all keys on steemit?

The pdf file we receive when creating the account should be kept out of the reach of others and if it is lost you will not be able to do any activity in your steemit account collection. You should also have knowledge of all the keys in the pdf you receive.

To help the platform (and of course, me) to maintain security, I decided to save the file in a hidden folder, on my PC (which nobody has access to), and later I saved secure place.

Steemit, gives us the opportunity to have its official blockchain wallet, in it we can transfer the tokens of the platform, do the power up, vote for the publications, among other things.

02- What are the different keys in steemit account and there functions ?

• Posting key

• Memo key

• Active key

• Owner key

I took the time to read in a measured way on the subject and once I understood the use of each one, we can summarize it as follows:

• Posting Key:

This is the one that will be used to comment, post, vote, follow accounts. It is the key that will have the most use, therefore it tends to be the most vulnerable.

• Active Key:

With it, a series of activities are carried out that are usually a little more delicate than those mentioned above. With it we can enter our wallet, make Steem Dollars conversions, update profile photos, modify or update details and make publications about the market.

• Owner key:

Indispensable to be able to change or modify any other password on the platform, which makes it the most powerful password.

• Memo Key:

Used to encrypt and decrypt memos when making money transfers.

03 - How to plan to keep your master password?

The master password is the main key. It should be kept secret place so that it does not go to anyone else. If you have lost your pdfile but have a master password you can generate all keys.

04 - how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

The Wallet really gives us an easy-to-use and very intuitive platform.

To make a transfer, first, we must enter our Wallet using our username and Activation Key.

Then, we locate the STEEM section, where we can see the tokens that we have available, we click on them and a menu will be displayed where we have the option to transfer.

When pressing the transfer button, you must enter the transection data:

• You will enter the name of the user to transfer

• Then, you will enter the amount to transfer

• And you must enter the memo ,that memo is public

To finalize the transection, you must click on next and enter the active key.

05 - how to power up your STEEM?

The Power Up helps us, in some way, to boost our Steemit accounts, allowing us to increase the Steem Power of our accounts, giving more power to the votes that we give to the publications of the platform.

If you want to boost your account with the Power Up, you must perform a few small and simple steps:

Once entered the wallet (explained in the previous answer) we select the STEEM option, and once the menu is displayed, we select the Turn on option.

Click on the power up and after that we enter the amount .

And we end step is click on the power up and enter the active key.

Today i have learned how to maintain and how to do our steem account from keys .so we can learn lot of thing day to day .i like this platform.
