Security is a major component and necessity in our daily livelihood into days’ world because of crime and fraud. Consequently, there are securities in every level of life starting from our homes, schools, religious centers, farms, shopping malls, cars, computer systems, mobile phones etc.
Some of the various level Securities are the human security; which uses the act of policing, encrypted securities which has to do with digits and code, if it is digits it is called the personal identification numbers (PIN) or if its involves symbols and alphabetical letters it is called the password or passkeys or passcodes etc. In our homes the doors of our houses and saves are locked with either mechanical keys or digital keys even our internet network is protected with a crop of codes called the firewall and antiviruses.

Basic
The word basic from the oxford language dictionary 2018 edition is define as an essential foundation or starting point it could also be right to say that basic is fundamental.
Security
This is defined as the state of being free from danger and threat. (source oxford language dictionary 2018 edition); it could also be said in another context, that SECURITY is a thing (animate or inanimate) plagued as a guarantee of the fulfilment of an undertaking or the repayment of a loan to be forfeited in the case of default.
Steem
According to (www.blockchaincouncil.org) by Toshendra Kumar Sharma) is defined to be a liquid currency like bitcoin, hence it has properties similar to Bitcoin and the values changes as well. Steemit platform pays its users in the cryptocurrency called STEEM.
Furthermore, in another publication on (www.bitdegree.org) STEEM is defined as a crypto coin of Steemit a blockchain-based social media platform which was founded in 2014 by Dan Larimer the chief executive officer of Bitshares, where users can create and publish their content online on Steemit platform and get a reward of that coin (STEEM)
Therefore, basic security in Steem are the essential foundations or starting points tools that will keep the user of the Steemit platform free from cyber threat and danger of losing his/her crypto coin (Steem) while using the platform.

Answer:Yes There are basically five (5) major types of securities in the Steemit platform that is use for different operations and functions.
These securities are referred to as keys, namely:
· The master password
· The owner key
· The active key
· The posting key
· The Memo key
The above mention keys are unique from one user to another as such it cannot be shared with any user on the platform of Steemit.

Answer :Yes. All the keys as earlier mentioned have different functions and restrictions;
· The master password:This key is used to derive all keys for an account including the owners key. These key is the most important key on the platform, it must be kept only to the owner of the account possession and access to him/her alone, thus it must not be shared at any point to another person or user in the platform to avoid fraud and theft in that account.
· The posting key: The posting key is more of a utility keys because most of the work accesses in a particular account such as post, comments, edit, vote, resteem, follows or mute to other Account are granted with the help of this key. It is also important to know that this key is the most appropriate keys for members of the different communities in the platform to use for their login daily. Consequently, this key can be compromised if more login done frequently, so it is advice to used it limitedly to avoid key compromise.
· The Active Key: these key is dedicated to sensitive task such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting Steem to dollars, voting for witness, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order.
· Owner key: The owner key is a recovery key used to recover any compromised key. This key is an offline operational key used to recovering compromised account, it is meant to be stored in a special device.
· Memo key: This key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.in other to use this operation to encrypt a memo the pound/# sign before it.

How do you plan to keep your master password safe?
Answer: There are many ways of keeping information safe, but the best way to keep the master password save is by printing the PDF copy of the key information that was down loaded in your devices and keep in the safe place at home in case of any damage or accident to your device, secondly having a multiply copy of the master password in a storage drive offline is also recommended for example; external hard disk, CD rom, floppy diskette, flash drive, memory cards etc., can keep the master password save.
