INTRODUCTION

I'm Okon Divine Effiong, my username is @deeokon. Turning 22 on January 25th.

FAMILY BACKGROUND.
I hail from Ibiono-Ibom, Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. In my family of six, I'm the eldest and the only girl with three lovely brothers, an Engineer Dad and a Nurse Mom.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND.
For education, I started at Isunambogu Primary School, Ibusa, Delta State, then moved to Federal Government Girls' College, Ibusa, Delta State.
Currently, I'm in my final year at the University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, pursuing a degree in English Education. All of them located in South South, Nigeria.

HOBBIES.
Beyond academics, I find joy in reading, writing, traveling, and watching movies.

WHY I JOINED STEEMIT.
My decision to join Steemit is fueled by a desire to enhance my reading and writing skills, connect with global friends, and share my perspectives as an African.

I aim to share aspects of my daily life as an African lady, delve into Nigerian cultures, review movies and global issues. Additionally, I hope to enhance my academic and financial well-being on this platform, aspiring to reach the status of a Dolphin.
