Good evening to you all, today has been a very stressful day, I was faced with different encounters but instead of wasting the day, I decided to write my achievement2 which is centered on basic security in steemit.

Security is equivalent to safeguard, protection, guidance etc. It's an act of securing something of great importance. If an object isn't secured, it can easily be accessed or stolen by foreign body.

STEEMIT AND SECURITY

Steemit has a special way of enhancing security, and this is done through the use of permission keys.
There are five permission keys in steemit. This permission keys performs different functions in steemit. They include 👇

Posting key
Active key
Memo key
Owner key and
Master password.

• Posting key: the Posting key is a very important key in steemit. It can be used in accessing account and doing order vital works in steemit.

• Active key: another outstanding key in steemit is the Active key. This key can be used in Transaction confirmation during transfers.

• Memo key: Memo keys are used for encrypting and decrypting. It's also used as a short message during transaction, this short message connotes the address or the purpose of the money.

• Owner key: The owner key is very influential in steemit. It's a key that shows ownership of a particular account. It's used in performing such important transactions like during transfers and logging in of out.

• Master password: As the word goes, master. It should be noted that this key is one of the most important key if not the most important in steemit. The activities of this key influences the use of other keys. The master key can be used in changing other keys.

RETRIEVING AND SECURING YOUR PERMISSION KEYS

Permission keys are very important in steemit. A permission key is used in performing several operations in steemit so, it's adviced that each permission key should be kept safely.
After creation of an account, every user is adviced to download a pdf that contains his permission keys. After downloading the pdf, we can use wps office or any application that can access pdf to access it.
After that, we can then move it to an offline folder for safekeeping.

HOW TO TRANSFER STEEM

login to your wallet.
click on steem, click on transfer.

Put the details of the person and confirm.

HOW TO POWER UP STEEM TOKENS
login to your wallet.
click on steem and then power up.

fill in the amount you want to power up and click on power up.
