Good day to you all my steemit family all over the globe. I am new here and I will want to introduce myself to the family.

MY BACKGROUND

My name is oyapidan olusola samuel, I am 43 years of age. I hail from Nigeria the giant of Africa and Ogun state, Abeokuta south, the western part of Nigeria that comprises of more of Yoruba race. My tribe in Abeokuta and it is traditional worshippers who believe in gods like sango, Oya, Ogun, and other gods. Our major food is Amala, ewedu soup. The major occupation practice in my place is farming, land acquisition and pretty trader who sell their farm products. The traditional wear in my place is agbada, buba, and Sokoto for men and iro and buba for women with their beautification materials like gold earrings, bangles, etc.

I was born into a family of 5 children with christian background from both parents. Believing in the religion and deciding to be a Christian is a personal decision. Growing up was not an easy task for me as a child who has many hurdles to overcome.

ACADEMIC JOURNEY

My academic career started in 1982, I attended a primary school, akilo primary school, Agege, lagos. While in the school, mathematics is one of my biggest challenge because I don't have any passion for it at all. so I fail it several time until I enter ansar ru seen comprehensive secondary school, ota, ogun state, then one of our math teacher was so interesting and skillful in teaching and that make me to like and show interest in.mathematics. then I started improving in mathematics. As time goes on, mathematics now becomes my favourite subject, all thanks to my mattematics teacher then in school Mr. okunola. I actually overcome the fear of mathematics and sacrifice many things to make me become addicted to know it more better. The way I have passion for football, etc., burning night candle now become the other of the day for me but it all pay in the end because It help me to further my career as an undergraduate in the most prestigous polytechnics, Lagos state polytechnic where I studied accounting and graduated with a lower class. While going through all this vigorous life-transforming process, I found my interest in administrative service which help me to further more in the professional course in institute of chartered secretary and administrator of nigeria (ICSAN).

CAREER

As an information technology, administrator and business person who love to play with information, has been inspired in providing services to the masses and also love the idea of getting things done with little effort based on initiative and my competence. Am a graphics designer, a website developer, an audio visual products and event manager, an entrepreneur, and infopreneur, realtor. a friend @unclecharles who I met on whatsapp online who introduce me to steemit a world-renowned digital platform that improves life in series of ways. I have seen what my friend has done with steemit with the little time we spend together, you can be successful.

CONCLUSION

When I saw the Facebook ad by Mr. Charles @focusnow, I know it was something I would like to do. After listening to his presentation on Whatsapp, my optimism grew. Am sure Steemit will give me the opportunity to learn as well as add value to other people's lives. We can make Steemit the bent content publishing platform ever.
