Plagiarism

Plagiarism is believed to be derived from a latin word used in 1st century Bc known as ‘plagrius’ which means kidnapped . Then later in 17th century plagiarism was defined as using or stealing someone's ideas without crediting the source !

Plagiarism and the world

Plagiarism have its own different consequences in different countries of the world in few countries it is considered as criminal offence and can let to as severe punishment as imprisoning while in other countries it is known as academic dishonesty

Plagiarism and copyrights

Its needed to be taken as notice that most of the people think plagiarism and copyrights as same things but it might surprise you as plagiarism and copyrights are not same . while both terms may apply to a purticular act ‚ they are different concept ‚ and false claim of authorship generally constitute plagiarism regardless of whether the material is protected by copyrights. Copyrights infringement is a violation of rights of a copyrights holder‚ when material whose use is restricted by copyrights is used without consent. Plagiarism‚ in contrast is concerned with the unearned increment to plagiarizing author's reputation ‚ or obtaining the academic credit that is achieved through false claim of authorship. Thus‚ plagiarism is considered as moral offence against plagiarist's audience !

Effects of plagiarism

Plagiarism is a criminal offense it decrease creativity and promote unprofessionalism. With the aid of doing so you are unable to grow your own genius . It is not incorrect to borrow every other's ideas or expression for your own imagination but how far it is used make it as the offense!

How to avoid plagiarism

•It should be avoided by banning it's posting on steemit platform
•The person using it should loose reputation on steemit
• Promote people for using their own ideas by crediting them through different ways on steemit !
