Achievement 5 Task 1 by @dove11: Review Steemworld.org

in hive-172186 •  2 years ago  (edited)
Hi, my fellow Steemians,

This is @dove11 with my task 5-1 in the Newcomers' Community. After being on this site for almost 13 months, 581 posts, including newcomers tasks 4, I have decided to compile this task 5-1. If I am doing this task, there is a reason behind it, which I will disclose in the coming weeks. Now my intention is to complete all the remaining tasks and acquire as much knowledge as I can. After all, I have to help and guide newcomers and motivate them.

I had to dig deeper to find out how the Steemworld platform came into existence and was developed by @steemchiller. I have been using Steemworld right from the beginning, as suggested by @cryptogeco when I joined an Indian community, In order to see my account information more than 13 months ago.

I immediately signed up @steemworld.org, by reaching there and using my Steemit user name and posting key. And then it was easy to find my "Dashboard". And as a seasoned online worker, even if I did not have that much experience with blockchain, the rest of the navigation was easy and interesting. I am aware of a couple of more similar sites but this one is perhaps the best of them all.

Once I signed in using my Steemit username and private posting key I was there in the magic steemworld

I could see everything in detail, and now it's been almost 11 months since I used this website for the first time. I have come a long way since then, but I was a little disappointed at that time because I had nothing much to show for it.

Let me show you all my rewards, post count, detailed reputation, and whatever I have been doing on the Steemit blockchain in detail.

Delegations:

I would like to show you my outgoing delegation:

Please check how I have shared my Steem power with different communities.

I am very proud to be a huge delegator, but I am sorry to say that I will cut some of these down in the coming weeks when I will need them to vote for users. However, here I would like to describe delegation, which is transferring my own SP to different communities or users to enable them to give a bigger vote and help the community members for a noble cause.

Right now, I have used my SP in communities as well as for projects that use it for their projects and organizational use. But as I said, I will bring some of it back to increase my own vote value because I have certain plans in the coming weeks.

The outgoing delegation, in my view, is simply a transfer of Steam Power from one account to another, which could help users in one way or another. Since I was not using it myself, I transferred it to various communities, but it's time that I take some of it back and start using it myself.

Incoming Delegation, I have never received any incoming delegation, but I have a clear picture of it. The incoming delegation is the one that a user receives to increase his power so that he can use it to post, vote, or even curate. But in most cases, it's given to newcomers so that they don't find themselves stranded due to a lack of SP.

However, the delegate can withdraw his delegated SP as and when he wants it for his other needs, which happens within a stipulated period.

How do you delegate SP?

Upvote worth

As I have shown in my post, everything is right at the top of Steemworld, so once you open your dashboard, you will find everything, including the value of your upvote at 100, 75, 50, or lower as you wish to vote for a user. Unfortunately, my vote value is low due to delegation, but it will be higher in the coming weeks.

So that was "How do I check the vote values?"

You can see it right at the top left of your dashboard in the circle that shows the share of all your positive votes. Check it out here.
