Hey guys we’re here again for Achievement 2 please pay proper attention because this is the most important achievement among all other achievements because it involves security, and you know that when you’re earning but your account isn’t secured it can cause you to loose everything within a twinkle of an eye.
So let’s go..

Question 1:
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I have retrieved all my keys before now
I got them from my pdf.

Question 2:
Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Yeah, I know the function and restrictions of this keys found on my pdf, I’ve properly gone through them.

Posting key: This key gives you permission or authorizes you to make post, comments, votes and other social activities in steemit . This key can’t be used for wallet purposes.

Owner Key: This key is the most powerful and important key in steemit due to the fact that it is used to change other passwords or keys used in the platform called steemit.

Active Key: This active key is use for some essential purposes like converting steem dollars, voting as a witness, changing and updating of profiles and it can also be used to transfer funds etc…

Master Password: This master password can also be cause a key and it is actually the first key you get when you register for steemit even before your PDF is sent, it is also used for creating or generating all other keys.

Memo Key: This key is all about encryption it is used to encode and decode memos when funds are being exchanged in steemit. The memo key is secures these memo’s from the third party.

Question 3:
How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have copied my master password offline and kept it among my other life documents and certificates. It is so much secure right now.

Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, I have learnt that from the tutorial I read before writing this my second achieve post. Right now I know how to transfer my steem token to another steem user account perfectly.

Step 1

Open the steemit wallet @www.steemitwallet.com
Then click the Steem icon and select Transfer.

Step 2

Input the receivers username and click Next.

Step 3

Click on OK to confirm this transaction.

Step 4

Sign in to your wallet with your Active key then click on Sign in.

Question 5
How do you power up Steem?

Step 1

Login on steemit.wallet.com and click on the Steem icon
Then select Power Up.

Step 2

Put the amount of Steem you want to Power Up and click Power Up.

Step 3

Confirm the Transaction by Clicking OK.

Step 4

Sign in to your wallet with your active Key to complete the Power Up.

Question 6
How do you power up steem?

Step 1

Login to Steemit.com then click on Power Down

Step 2

Enter the amount you want to withdraw and click on Power Down.

Step 3

Sign in to your wallet with your active key to complete the Power Down.
