Here is a link to my first achievement. I am hoping to complete my second achievement task with this post. Thanks to @kiwiscanfly and @cryptokannon, it should be pretty easy.

I would like to start by saying that I have retrieved all my keys and saved my master key in a USB key that I have been holding for over 7-8 years, in my internal hard drive (Offline) as well as in a folder on a piece of paper that I printed.

While each key has a different function and cannot be used instead of any other, the Master Key is the one that should be kept super safe as once this is lost, the account cannot be recovered. It should only really be used in the cases of account recovery. It can generate all the other keys including owner key.

Then comes the Owner Key. In the hierarchy, it is under the Master Key as it has no overwriting rules over Master Key. Owner Key can change all the other keys but Master Key. Again this should only be used in cases of account recovery.

Posting Key is used for everyday interactions such as posting, commenting, upvoting, resteeming etc.

Memo Key is used to encrypt and decrypt private transfers.

And finally, the Active Key. It is used for sensitive tasks such as sending Steems, Powering Up and Down, profile changes etc.

TOKEN TRANSFERS

To transfer a token to another Steem User, you need to simply go to your wallet and click on the Steem Amount you have. There will be a dropdown menu of which you need to click on Transfer. Please see the image below.

Then enter the amount you'd like to send and the user name of the Steem User. Please see below. You can leave the Memo blank. When you click on next, you will see a confirmation page, click on OK.

On the last step, you need to enter your Active Key and sign-in to complete the transfer.

Powering up your STEEM

In order to power up and down your STEEM, you need to simply go to your wallet, depending on whether you want to power up or down, you need to click on Steem Power or Steem. To power up, you need to click on Steem, then select Power up ( STEP1). One important note is that STEEM POWER is non-transferable and requires 1 month to convert back to Steem. You will then see the Pop-up below (STEP2) . Enter the amount of Steem you'd like to Power up.
