PLAGIARISM

Hello and a warm greetings to everyone, i appreciate the verification of my achievement 1 and 2, today's achievement will be on plagiarism. Most often than not, this term is usually considered as theft because it involves using something not belonging to u. Plagiarism is an act of taking an idea or work of someone else and using them as his or her own. Plagiarism however is different from others like copyright and one can be punished for practicing plagiarism but plagiarism on its own is different from country to country. In the society today, plagiarism is very common as people turn to use the ideas of others without their concern, this has led so many people to be punished especially in countries where it is considered as an offense. It is true that every work or idea must originate from someone and so trying to use someone else work or idea entails that he or she should be informed, the original author can accept or refuse his idea not to be used, this will prevent punishment from using what doesn't belongs to u. As all men are not the same, some persons go a long way to steal and present the work of another person, when this happens, we say that person just plagiarized. There are many types of plagiarizing which includes; complete, accidental, source based, direct, mosaic plagiarism just to mention a few. When one plagiarizes, it is sure he or she benefits and not the owner of the idea, with this one can say plagiarism is not good.

A country can as well plagiarize from another country, in the academic milieu students however often plagiarize the works of others especially when they are given assignments, this will only end up making a student totally dependent on the idea of another person thus limiting that student to be creative on his or her own. People have been jailed for stealing the works of others, others have paid fines for the same reason, this means that the laws of some certain countries determines plagiarism as a crime barged by sanctions, to thers it might not be so, this is because laws differs from country to country, what might be law for A might not be law for B.
Plagiarism is a crime, it is also an ethics violation if you are in a teaching or student position. People copy right their papers to protect them from unauthorized use, if you take it for your own and profit from it, the courts can take that profit away and give it to the plantiff. Normally, plagiarism is punished as a civil law violation and is therefore not subject to imprisonment, but depending upon from whom or where you steal the material it may be subject to prosecution as a felony.

CONSEQUENCES OF PLAGIARISM
As the topic plagiarism entails, it has effects such as:
-Plagiarism destroys professional reputation
-As far as a student is concern, plagiarism destroys student reputations.
-There is also monetary repercussion
-legal repercussions for plagiarism.

CONCLUSION
Plagiarism involves taking what belongs to another person without his or her concern, his benefits and rights over what belongs to him is been enjoyed by someone else, plagiarism is a criminal offence since it involves offenses committed against a person. It is however not advisable to do plagiarism.
