I have retrieved all the important data of security in a proper place to keep my steemit acount secured in my gmail as a screenshot as well as in the form of plain text and pdf file. I will keep my data safe and in place in two of my mobile devices and flashdrive because i know these are very important documents for accessing my account.

All of the keys have distinctive function:

Posting key is required to perform actions like commenting, upvoting others and posting your posts. Without this key we will not be able to connect with others on steemit or publish our own articles. This key should be kept private and never to be shown anywhere ever.

Memo Key is required to decrypt and encrypt the memorandum of transfers to and from any other wallet/account from outside of steemit for funding purposes. Without this key funds cannot be moved outside steemit. It should also be kept private.

Private active key is required to perform transactions as well as the conversions in the wallet. Hence its neccessary for built in steemit wallet related actions. Its neccessaryto keep your assets secured.

Master password or private owner keys is the key that is required to retrieve all other keys as well as to recover steemit account. Without this key we will not be able to retrieve steemit account and other keys.

I have kept them all online and offline both so i can have them anytime i need. I have stored them as plain text, email, screenshot as well as a pdf file in my two devices and flash drive.

I know how to power up using steem in my account or by buying and depositing steem through the exchanges where steem is listed into my steemit account wallet. Power up will be done by wallet where steem is present. Click on steem where dropdown box will appear with options, click transfer (we can transfer steem outside the steemit account as well as to the savings in steemit built in wallet) and add the neccessary details (account name, keys) and finalize. You are done. We can also trade this steem for anyother alternative token or coin. Power up will make your account activities on steemit more influencial and we can also lend this steem power to other users too.

Click on steem and dropdown box will appear with options, click "power up" and add the amount of steem which you want to power up and click done.
