Hello friend how are you, I am essaj and this is my 2nd achievement post in steemit. After long time I will be able to write on my 2nd achievement in steemit. The title of second achievement is basic security on Steemit.

Now I am ready to explain basic security on steemit. Steemit is a blockchain system and its security is very sensitive.

What is Security?

Security is a very interesting word in our word. In these days and age we call security the thing that protects us from the people. But not so age in digital age.

In today's digital age we protect our data with a strong password. That way we can protect our data from being stolen. There are different types of passwords that we use. Many other sources of security are used. In this post we will learn how to secure your steemit account.

Question#1 : Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have retrive all keys on steemit when I signup a soft copy of these keys are downloaded and I saved it in my computer, usb and my google account. For this purpose I used it for later.

Question#2 : Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes I know each of these keys functions and restrictions very carefully. These keys have many functios that I explain very carefully.

• Master Key

Master key is the main key in steemit. This is consider overall key. It is the master and mother of all keys. this key we used to change owner key.

• Active Key

Active key is very important in steemit. It is used to transfer tokens and power up. It is used to perform many transactions in steemit.

• Posting Key

Posting is used to login our account and post our blog in different communities and used for commenting and editing a post. posting key is basic key of steemit. It is also used for voting.

• Owner Key

Owner key is very important key in steemit. It is used to change other keys and recovering our account

• Memo Key

If we talk about memo key so this key is used to view encrypted massages and send encrypted messages to others.

Question# 3 : How do you plan to keep your master password?

Yes I care fully store my keys in different places. I store it my google drive and also saved my computer,Usb drive and written in my note book. So I planed to save it many ways.

Question# 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to another steem user account?

Yes I know how to transfer our steem tokens to other steem account. First login in to your steemit account and go to wallet and then again login into your wallet with your active key. Next step in which, I click my account balance and transfer steem tokens for this fill all important information such as user name very care fully. And the last we used owner key or master key is used for approval out transaction .

Question# 5 : Do you know how to power up your steem?

In this we used same methof like question 4 . First click on wallet and then click balance. a pop up will appear and then click on power button care fully enter amount that you power up and click it ok.

Conclusion

This is my second task that I will explain in my own and easy words. In this topic I will discussed different types of security in steemit. We learn in this topic how to transfer tokens and power up steem. I hope you will understand my effort for this topic.
