INTRODUCTION

Hello beautiful people of this great club, its been a very long time and I'm glad to be here again. This is a post about my achievement 2 and it is about how I maintain security here on my steemit platform.

STEEMIT AND STEEMIT SECURITY

We all know that security has been a very big challenge in our world today especially when we talk about our individual well-being and the society at large. Low levels of security causes common fraudulent activities, scamming and so on.

Q1 Have you retrieved all of your keys?
Answer: Yes I have. I have transferred them to a personal account and saved them on Google drive
Q2 Do you know each key's functions?
Yes .
Posting key is the login key. It is used to log into the steemit account.

Active key is for accessing the wallet. It is generally used for accessing funds on steemit

Owner key is used to derive or get back other keys.

Master key unlocks every other key. it is not retrieved once it is misplaced.

Q3 How do you plan to keep your master password?
Ans: I wrote it down accurately and kept it in a safe place

Q4: Do you know how to transfer your steem to another account?
Ans: Yes. This is the procedure
Log into steemwallet
Enter your username and active key
Go to your steemwallet and click on the drop down
Click on transfer and type the name and amount of the receiver .

Q5 Do you know how to power up?
Ans:
Login to your steemwallet using your active key.
Click on steem
Click power up and type the amount of steem you want to power up
