ABOUT ME
I am Oby Okonye, a lady who hails from Ndokwa-West L. G. A. of Delta State but is presently resident in Lagos State.
I come from a family of seven and I happen to be the first of five great stars, a position I proudly occupy.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND and PROFESSION
I completed my secondary education in Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, as a result, I acquired a Secondary School Certificate in 2004. Afterwards, I sought higher learning in the University of Port-Harcourt where I studied Microbiology. On graduating from the university, I developed an interest in teaching children. Can you guess what I did afterwards?
Yes, you guessed right. I went into teaching in the elementary but along the way, I discovered that in was more passionate about teaching and being with toddlers and preschoolers, don't dove in. I dare say that it has become one of my favourite things to do. I also do produce and sell learning resources (flashcards to be precise) for preschoolers.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS
I am currently unmarried.
HOW I DISCOVERED STEEMIT
An amazing colleague in the person of Adaku @beautybb introduced me to the platform as she passionately talks about being on the platform, the tasks and the benefits it has availed her - with evidence. I got interested and asked more questions in order to know more and be more informed in my decision-making, she was so excited to tell it all. Thank you @beautybb for your encouragement through this process.
AIM OF JOINING STEEMIT
My primary aim of joining Steemit is to gain knowledge and share ideas with others. I am here to 'know more, do more and be more'.
MY CONTRIBUTION TO THIS PLATFORM
I love learning new things, so whilst gaining knowledge on here, I will be willing to also share my ideas on varied subjects. I also will be willing to engage the posts of others on this platform as often as possible. I will do my best possible to intimate others about the Steemit platform and its rewards.
CONCLUSION
I really do appreciate the brains and creatives behind the authenticity of the Steemit platform. I am happy to be here and to explore the opportunities that being on Steemit avails.
