I am so happy to write my achievement 4 post here on steemit.to show a better understanding of markdown.

First of all what is markdown

Markdown is a light weight makeup language used in creating formatted text while applying a plain-text editor.markdown is also a plain-text formatting Syntex with aim of making writing for the internet alot easier.the ideal behind markdown is that plain text documents should be readable and understand without tags mussing everything up, adding of text modifiers like,list,bold,italics.

How to apply markdown

Basically markdown is a way to style text on the web. You control the display of the documents, formatting words as bold or italics. For one to be able to do this, which is emphasizing of bold and italics at the same time.

Avoid plagiarism
Always apply citation

This can also be applied at the middle of a text
One needs to be fully aware of how to cite properly in other not to be charged with copyright.

Also markdown can be applied by adding images,and creating list are just a few of the things or ways we can apply markdown.markdown is a regular text with a few non-alphabetic character thrown in like #,*or @, we use # to make our headline depending on how bold we want our headline to be we can add more # the more # we add before typing the smaller the headline will be, we use * to make a text bold by adding it before and after typing the word or sentence, and @ to mention a steemit user

This can be done by applying quotes,and image,hastagges .etc
