Good to all steemians in Nigeria and beyond.I have done my Introduction post for a very long period of time but I haven't done the other Achievement post.Now I am ready to complete them starting Achievement 2.

Security is an important aspect of our human life.We secure our properties from theft,burglary or damage.Also here on Steemit,we have to safeguard our keys so that another won't have access to it.I have read the class and I wish to answer the questions.

Question One

Definitely.I have retrieved all my keys which include master password, posting key,active key,memo key,owner and even my tron password.

Question Two

Each of the keys has its funtion(s).I will list nthe keys are their functions.

•Master Password:This is the first key that is been generated upon sign up on Steemit.It is the master of all the keys.The Master password is used to log in to the wallet to generate the other keys(posting key, active key etc).

•Posting Key:This is a another important key.It is used for logging in to make a post on Steemit.It gives the user the permission to post,comment,vote,resteem.

•Active Key:The Active key is used for confidential transactions such powering up, powering down,transferring funds to another user.

•Owner Key:This key is barely heard of and is rarely used.It is used for recovering a compromise account.

•Memo Key:This particular key is used for encryption (hidding) and decryption (revealing) of memo during transfer.

Question Three

How I plan to save my master password and other keys is that I will save it on my phone and laptop.I may not save it on my email because it could be hacked.

Most importantly i will save it offline on a harddisk or copy it our on a paper keep it in safe place.

Question Four

Most definitely.I can transfer Steem from my wallet to another user.The first is to log in and go to the wallet section.

On getting to the wallet section,I will click on the arrow on Steem and then select Transfer.

I will then enter the user that I am transferring to and the amount of Steem I wish to transfer.I will enter the memo If necessary and click on Next.

The transaction would be completed my entering my Active key.

Question Five

I also know how to powering up.Powering up means transferring my Steem to SteemPower.Look at the procedure used to power up.

First i will log into Steemit ams head towards the wallet section.I will click on the arrow on Steem.

Then I will select power up.Then enter the amount of Steem I wish to power up and then click on power up.

The transaction would be completed by entering the Active key.

Conclusion

I believe I have been able to complete my Achievement 2 post in Newcomers Community.
