First of all we are gonna be looking at what plagiarism is.
According to google, Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as his or her own.
Secondly the merriam webster online dictionary defined plagiarism as to steal or pass off ( the ideas or words of another) as one's own,
*To use anothers production without crediting the source,
*To present as new and original an idea derived from an existing source.in other words plagiarism is an act of fraud ,it in volves both stealing elses work and lying about it afterwards,
*Copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

*Direct plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is the word for word transcription of a section of someones else's work ,without attribution and quotation marks.

*Accidental plagiarism
Accidental plagiarism occurs when a person neglects to cite their sources or misqoutes their sources ,or unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words ,groups of words or sentence structure without attribution.

*Self plagiarism
This occurs when a student submits his or her own previous works or mixes parts of previous work without permission from all professors involved.
