Hello to you all!
I hope you are doing well. In today’s post, I shall cover how you can apply markdowns.

Definition of Markdown

Markdown is used to arrange or rearrange a post. You can format words, add pictures, videos and recordings and numerous different things. This is an approach to style text on the web.
We will now look at applying markdowns using the following text from one of my favourite authors.

“It may be possible to do without dancing entirely. Instances have been known of young people passing many, many months successively, without being at any ball of any description, and no material injury accrue either to body or mind.”
—Jane Austen, Emma

Aligning a text

TEXT RIGHT It may be possible to do without dancing entirely. Instances have been known of young people passing many, many months successively, without being at any ball of any description, and no material injury accrue either to body or mind
TEXT LEFT It may be possible to do without dancing entirely. Instances have been known of young people passing many, many months successively, without being at any ball of any description, and no material injury accrue either to body or mind

The same can be applied to images that need to be aligned.

HEADINGS
There are two ways to create a heading. The first is to use the '#' symbol before the heading. The more '#' symbol that is used, the smaller it will get.

Heading 01

Heading 02

Heading 03

The second way is to use the '-'. You can write the heading and underneath it, apply the dashes, or the equals sign.

Emma

or

Emma

Making Tables

This is done by writing the title on each cell, divided by the '|' sign. To make the next section, '-' is used to make the row and it is divided by using '|'.

Heading 1Heading 2
Division 1Division 2

Bold Text
This is achieved by using '**' before and after the word you wish to make bold.

Italic Text
This can be done by placing the '*' symbol before the word(s) you wish to have Italicised.

Blockquotes
The '>' sign is put before the phrase that one wishes to quote.

“It may be possible to do without dancing entirely. Instances have been known of young people passing many, many months successively, without being at any ball of any description, and no material injury accrue either to body or mind.”
—Jane Austen, Emma
