I must really commend a great figure @cryptokannon for bringing up these acheivement tasks, I have really learnt a lot fr the acheivement 2 - acheivement 5 task 1.
So today, I will be writing on my Acheivement 5 task 2 which reviews steemscan.
Steemscan
Steemscan is a great tool that is used in the easy conversation of Steem into other currencies like USDT and BTC.
It provides exchange without KYC, your order cannot be successful if you enter an invalid adress to avoid sending funds to the wrong address.
Below are on Home navigation bar:
- Latest prices and volumes
- Latest transaction
- Latest block
Latest Prices and Volumes
When you visit steemscan.com, this is what you see first at the top which shows the Steem current price and volume of exchange.
latest transaction
This is where you see all transactions that have been made on steemit, all the transfers, comments, votes, claim reward balance etc.
Latest blocks
It shows the latest blocks and amount of block transactions and witnesses.

Below are navigation Bar:

Witnesses
You will see the top 200 witnesses according to their rank, version, status and so on, you can also vote any witness.
DApps
It shows a list of Steem based DApps sites. App where You can search and find apps easily and use.
Dev tools
Dev tools summarizes the account of steemit users.
Quick convert
This section is majorly used for the conversion of Steem into USDT, TRX and BTC, to perform this functions, some steps must be taken
These steps are:
Enter the amount of Steem you want to convert.
Choose the currency you want to convert your Steem to, either USDT, BTC or TRX.
Enter an address on which you want to send your converted crypto.
Then you click on the create order, in this case, your active key is needed to confirm the order.
In this section, base exchange price applies, the fees changes based on the Steem exchange rate.
Search
You can search using the search types which are transaction, witness vote, power up etc.
