Achievement 1: Introductory Post

Hello!

Much of the information in this post is also on my first blog post here

Your name and age
I'm Hadrian Archo and I'm in my mid-20's. That's as much as I can say since I still want a touch of anonymity on the web. That also explains why my features are hidden in the verification photo.

A country where you reside now
I'm in the United States

Your area of work or your study
I work in biomedical research, but my degree is in sociology.

Your experience with crypto
I completed MIT's Blockchain and Money course with Gary Gensler on Youtube/MIT and learned a lot from it. I highly recommend it. Other than that, I have stake in Ethereum. I don't consider myself a cryptocurrency maximalist, but I see it existing alongside fiat currency for a long time.

Your hobby and passion, dislike
My longest running hobby is video games, and I've been doing that for 10+ years now, I'm a Battlefield junkie. I also have been journaling since 2016 on a weekly basis as a way to clear my head. I like to read books through my own self-designed courses that help me get some depth on topics I come across in life. I do enjoy working with my hands too, so I build everyday things out of cardboard, wood, or concrete. Lastly, I'm also working on a couple of inventions in my spare time.

My dislikes are pickles (I try to eat one a year, still gross), and drinking milk straight out of a glass (I have no clue why...)

What sort of posts written by others are you looking for
I'm not really sure, I came here to use Steemit as a repository/backup for blogger.

What sort of posts do you think you'll be creating (these can change, so don't feel locked in.)
I have two types of posts that I plan on doing on my blog. The first generation posts will contain pieces, excerpts, or complete personal writings that I have written over the years. I currently have a series of white papers that I have written over the years that I have been meaning to put online for some time. The second generation of posts are more blog-like and include quick takes on events, recaps of books or content that I read, stock market commentary, recent musings, and new white papers

How you found Steemit and what you hope to accomplish here.
I've known about Steemit for a couple of years now. I found it through an old forum I used to visit. All I hope to accomplish is to put my writings online, and leave it so that somebody one day will find them useful. Perhaps, some internet archeologist might find it useful in the future.

You have to post your picture without veil

I understand, however, I will not show more features. This is supposed to be an anonymous project for me. That's principle. If it prevents me from getting this achievement done, meh, so be it.

Hello. Your presentation needs to be done without mask. Steemit is not meant to be an anonymous social media. If you consider this an anonymous project, this will not work out dude. Saturday, July 24th, 2021.

Once again, I will not for this project. I'll still use the platform as I intended for my postings. I just won't pursue any of the achievements from this point forward. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it!

It's a shame that anonymity isn't as valued in the current web landscape.
