Assalam-u-Alaikum! My Dear friends.
How are you? I hope you will be fine. I am also fine with the grace of Allah Almighty.
Content Etiquette:
What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism means copying someone else's work, such as articles, content, photos and ideas without their consent and presenting the content with your own content.
Types of Plagiarism:
There are many types of plagiarism, but I will just talk about some of the most common types of plagiarism which are as follows:
1. Self Plagiarism:
It is the type of Plagiarism in which a person copy his previous work or when someone reuses their previously used content.
2. Complete Plagiarism:
This is the most common type of plagiarism under which a person takes a piece of another's work and changes its title to the title of his own name.
3. Direct Plagiarism:
This is a type of plagiarism in which a person copies another person's work into word to word, image, music or video without giving proper credit to the source.
4. Accidental Plagiarism:
Accidental Plagiarism is also a type of plagiarism in which you do not copy another person's work but accidentally your content and another person's content become the same.
How to Avoid Plagiarism:
- When using someone else's content, you must give the correct reference to the source of the content.
- Don't use content without giving credit to the authors.
- Do not copy and paste someone else's work.
- Always use your ideas instead of copying someone else's work.
- If you need to copy someone else's content, you should also use a link to that content.
