Hello everyone on steemit, I hope you all guys are doing great in your lives. Today am here to present my 2nd achievement post on "basic security" on steem . so in this post we will be discussing the importance of keys and how to use it and secure it.

In this achievement post i will Answer the questions which is asked in this achievement post one by one.

Question 1:

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer :

Yes i have retrieved all my keys which i have stored in the form of PDF.

Answer :

Yes i know each on of key functions and restrictons, i'll define each one of functions.

Posting Key:

Posting key on Steemit is a security feature that provides users with control over their account and content. It is a long string of random characters that serves as a password for posting content, voting, post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and performing other actions on the platform.Psting key is also use to follow or mute the other acoounts.

Active Key :

The "Active key" is use for more sensitive use as transfer funds to redeem or in transactions. and for power up or power down the steem.active key is an essential component of Steemit's security model because it enables users to control their accounts and protect their assets. Throgh active key we have an access to converting steem into dollars, and we can vote throgh active key on people's posts. And throgh active key we can have an access to upgrade your profile as your profile picture or avatar and lacing market in order.

Owner Key :

An "Owner Key" is considered to be very important and use when necessary . The owner key is the most powerful of these keys and is used to control all aspects of the account. It can be used to change the other keys associated with the account, such as the active key, posting key, and memo key, as well as to reset the account's password.It is important to keep the owner key secure and protected as it grants complete control over the account, including the ability to transfer funds, update account information, and even delete the account. And owner key have to be sorred somewhere safe or offline.

Memo Key :

The memo key is a cryptographic key that allows users to encrypt and decrypt messages that are sent to and from their Steemit account. This key is important for maintaining the security and privacy of the user's account and the messages that they send and receive. It is important for users to keep their memo key secure and not share it with others, as it is the key that is used to encrypt and decrypt all of their private messages. In order to encrypt the the memo you have to use the pound sign /# before you use it.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer :

I have secured my master password very securely. i have saved my master password in google drive as well in usb drive, and in hard form.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer :

Yes i do know that hoe can i transfer steem from my account to any other steem user account
Step 1 : click on your profile and then click on "wallet"

step 2 : Then you have to click on steem as shown in picture on top right corner, then click on transfer.

step 3 : Then click on next paste your active key and your steem will be transfer to another account you want.

Question 5 :

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer :

Yes, i do know that how can you power up your steem
step 1 : Go to your wallet from your profile and then click on that same steem

step 2 : Now select the amount of the steem that you want to power up
step 3 : Now that you have selected the amount and give your active key you are ready to power up your steem.
