Achievement 6 by @hardiho123475 Task : Understanding curation and community

Hey steemians, I'm glad to write my last achievement post today and I will always commend the effort of @msquaretk for his support and motivation towards accomplishments of this feat.

(Q1) Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Yes, voting in steemit is of two types. Upvote and down vote. Up voting is indicated with blue rectangle shape, while down voting is indicated with red circle shape as shown in Image 1

A good content will get upvote by fellow steemians while a poor content, or content containing abusive language, detected of plagiarism or found to be involved in scam will get down vote.

If you have more steem power, you can distribute reward from the reward pool by up voting a user, and whenever you vote one will see the strength of his voting mana. This voting mana is usually set to 100% and it will begin to drop bit by bit as you're voting. New user are only eligible to vote or down vote when they
have 100% voting strength.

(Q2) What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

Once a post is made, 100% curation reward will still remain in the reward pool. Within 5 minutes of making a post, once the user vote on the post, certain percentage of the reward will go back to the reward pool. For example assuming a post was created and user upvote on it 1 minute after creating the post, instead of the initial 100% reward, 80% will go back to the pool while 20% will be meant for curator reward, at 2 minute of making a post, 40% will go to the curator while 60% will return back to the pool, at 3 minute, 60% will go to the curator and 40% will remain in reward pool, while at 4 minute, the curator will received 80% while 20% will go back to the reward pool and at 5 minute or later than 5 minute of upvoting a post, you will get the curator reward of 100% to you.

(Q3) Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

witnesses are elected by community to produce blocks on steem blocks chain at interval of 3 minutes. They do compensate them with steem power as they are always online to prevent hacking the block chain.

As for me, I will prefer to vote for @justyy who created steemmy.com because the tools will allow users to understand alot about their accounts and also I'll vote for @futureshock who created steemscan.com, the tools is a very useful tools that is beneficial to all steem users.

(Q4) Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

There are alot of communities on steemit, so I'll be joining world of football as my love for sport will enable me to join this community immediately after posting my achievement 6, I'll also like to join steemfarm-Market because of my passion for agriculture and as a practicing agriculrist which in the community I'll be able to learn new things from different people in the agricultural industry.
