INTRODUCTION

I am ecstatic to be a steemian and I would love to accomplish and achieve all the given task in all the community and to abide by the rules and also to guard the security in my steemit blockchain

• Posting key
• Active key
• Memo key
• Power up/Owner key
• Master key
• Public key

SECURITY
How to keep my steemit account,we can guard your steem account secure by adhering to the listed keys,rules and understood procedures

• Guard your secret key in some place and you can also write it down or save it in your email or Google drive it. Incase you loose it or you forget to log into your steemit account.

• Do not share your keys and password to anyone

MEANINGFUL USE OF KEYS

THE MASTER KEY
This is the type of key that gives you access to any other key found in your steemit wallet,It is very important such that when misplaced it cannot be recovered so therefore we are expected to keep it safe or better still save it inform of hardware,in software such as google drive,gmail and any other secured means of storing important security keys.

THE ACTIVE KEY
The functionality of an active key shouldn't be taken for granted because of its vital importance we can as well call the active a secondary key or at most a pre-tertiary key. This is because it can be used in place of the master key,we can use it for all our financial transaction in our steemit wallet it can grant you permission to reveal other keys.

THE POSTING KEYS
This key is very important but not as important as the active key,it can be used to log into your blog and your wallet but cannot permit any fund transfer,it is a primary key it grants permission for upvoting and commenting of post etc.Not with standing it's performance is limited.

THE OWNER KEY
This key I call secondary key,it is one of the basic key in steemit blockchain which enables us to change or reset our password at large.It is recommended to keep it safe.

THE MEMO KEY
It is not too significant but it is important,it is not often used in your steemit wallet.It is used to encript private messages,you can use it to view an encrypted private message and also send messages.

THE PUBLIC KEY
Just as the name entails the public key has already been silence by the use of other keys such as Active keys,Owner keys,Memo keys,Posting Key,Master key etc. The Public key is very important and it can serve the purpose of general key usage but it is only used when there is an essential demand of it.

IN CONCLUSION
I plead you take a very high precautive measure when dealing with any of your keys especially the master key.Therefore it is expected that all keys are been saved just as the stepulated saving procedures are listed above ( save it in your email draft,write it down,google drive it)
Note:- Your master password cannot be recovered the essence of this emphasis is to ring an alarm on how importance the master password is,so it shouldn't be toiled with even if you joke with other keys thus keep it saved. With this few explanation listed above am sure you must have understood the essence of keeping your password saved.

Brief procedures on how to make use of your master password

A) Log in your wallet you will see a picture just as the screen shot below

B) Depending on what you want to do as for me I want to transfer
Click on the transfer but before then click on the steem arrow which is green in color

C) It will retardiate to a new page where in you are expected to put in the speculated amount you want to transfer and the name of the receiver then click on next just as the screenshot below entails

D) When you click on next it will take you to another page which indicate the verification of what you are doing if accepted by your choice of selection you click ok as the screenshot below

E) When you click on ok it takes you to a page where you put your name and your password to authenticate your master password after which you click ok,it will return you to your wallet and the selected steem will not seen anymore in your steemit wallet as the screenshot below.
