Hello steemians, welcome to my first post.
I am thrilled to be part of this wonderful family. Below is a brief introduction of myself.

I am Felicia Ambrose. I am from Oron LGA in Akwaibom state, southern Nigeria. I was born and bred in Lagos, so I can also be called a Lagosian because I currently live in Lagos. I am the fourth of five children, with a total family of seven. I am the second girl child, otherwise known as "ulanwa" in my language.

  EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/PROFESSION

I am an SSCE graduate of Aguda Community Senior Secondary School. I wasn't born into the regular kind of family, dad wasn't a present factor in our lives and mom had a health condition that limited what she could do to make a living, hence, my inability to further my education. I had the dream of becoming a renowned medical doctor but now I am a fashion designer by profession. I have always had a flare for looking good and designing outfits. Mom was a tailor, so that must have also helped to spike my creativity and designing skills. I acquired fashion designing skill at age 13 and for over 8 years, I have worked with several fashion brands and houses and this has led to my skills getting more improved and made me a better person socially. Over the years I have also acquired skills such as: bag making, bead making, crocheting and organic skin treatment. I am also a dropshipper and I use social media to market goods and products. Soon I would launch my own clothing line too.

 DISCOVERING THE STEEMIT PLATFORM

I was informed and educated on steemit by my amiable friend, who is now a brother and a source of my motivation @misterfab. He has coached and literally taken my hands, helping me through each stage. I am super excited to be on this journey.

    AIM OF JOINING STEEMIT

Steemit uses the internet in a way the world has never imagined, therefore, I am thrilled to learn and gain more insight and explore new ideas that are being shared here. Also, the gift of connecting and sharing ideas with like minded people is appealing. I really wish to create strong bonds here.

MY PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION TO STEEMIT

While obtaining information is good, sharing well thought-out opinions and ideas is my aim. I would engage in posts and be active as steady as possible. I would also teach others about steemit so they can join and benefit too.

      CONCLUSION

It is not a mistake to be here, rather, an opportunity to diversify. It is also an eye opener. I am glad and determined to live by and defend the rules and regulations of this great platform. I promise to not hold back knowledge.
