Hi everyone

My name is huraim. I grew up in gilgit pakistan and currntly mother to 3 kids. Being just 25 years old and having 5 kids might sound unusual and strange to some but its pretty normal where i live.

I would not say that being so young and having kids is part of the culture instead it wqs solely my choice and preference. Why i chose this life? Keep reading to know more

My education

I did my matriculation from a private school near by my house so till my teenage i stayed close to my home and didn’t explore the outside world much. I got married right after metric.

For intermediate i joined a public college for girls and did my inter.

I didn’t continue my education through degrees and university but i kept educating myself through various forums. I read books, attended multiple seminars and events organised for women as my mother is a key social worker in the region. She is actively working for women rights.

I believe that education is not limited to university and collage in-fact you can keep learning no matter what.

My marriage story:

Being a young, social and joyful teenage girl that i was, a gentleman approached me and asked me out. The guy was my far relative qnd knew me well. He sent me multiple letters. Yes you heard it right. He literally sent me hand written notes expressing his feelings. As sweet as his gestures of love, i fell in love with him with all my heart and accepted his proposal.

He sent his parents to our house the next day and my parents agreed . It was obvious as They wouldn’t have found a better match for me.

And there i was engaged to a civil officer having at least 10 years of age gap within a month.

It felt like a fairy tale. My parents left it to me to decide weather i want an early marriage or let the guy wait for at least 5 years till i finish my studies.

I decided to go through this journey along my husband to be. We had great understanding and my husband was my friend, mentor and loved me more than anyone. I trusted him with my life and my emotions and went for an early marriage.

My Hobbies :

I love spending time with my kids but thats not a hobby :D i love to have me time almost everyday. Thanks to the daycares and house help I don’t have much chores to do and vet plenty of time for myself.

I love to do my skincare routines, pamper myself, play badminton and gardening. I have a kitchen garden that i take care of. I also love to travel and go for hikes. Being a northerner, its very common to go on hikes and detox. Even though i live around mountains 24/7 yet me and my husband love to travel.

What i will contribute to steemit:

Age is just a number and i believe going through so much in life in such young age has taught me countless lessons and has given me multiple dimensions to look at life. I intend to share my thoughts , my experiences, my travelogues, my life without any filters harsh as the giant mountains and soft as my gentle heart.
