I want to say am happy and well opportuned to have come this far and must express my profound gratitude to @xkool24 and @hisgeneral for their unrelenting efforts and contribution to my success and progress. Meanwhile, l feel excited to commence achievement 5 task 2 on Review of Steemscan.com sequel to the verification of my previous achievement task.

Introduction

steemscan.com is a decentralized block chain tool that steemit users make use of to convert their steem to other currencies such as USDT, BTC, TRX etc. It has many characteristics; it is user friendly and quite transparent.

Question 1
Please explain the current steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review

The current price of steem as at the time of this post, according to coinmarketcap.com is $0.6289 as shown below:

The volumes of steem as the date of submission of this review can be seen on the homepage of steemscan as shown by:

Question 2: Please explain what all information is shown under latest transactions and latest block section

The information shown under latest transactions includes the following:
Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver/Permlink/Id, Type, and Amount/%/Payload

Under the latest block, the following information are found:
ID, and Block Transactions

Question 3: Please explain what all information is shown under witness section and steps to vote a witness

To see all information shown under witness section, navigate to steemscan.com, click on Menu and selectWitness.

The information seen under witness includes:
Rank (in descending order), Witness, Status, Version, Missed, Price feed, and Reg fee as well the Last Block Height and Current Witness indicated below.

The following are the steps to vote a witness:

• Step 1: Log into steemscan.com
• Step 2: Click on menu and select witnesses from the options.
• Step 3: You can see a list of witnesses
• Step 4: Select any of them and vote

Question 4
Please explain what is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest.

DApps are Decentralized Applications which are found in the steemscan that allows users easy access to various decentralized applications. It is a collection of different steem decentralized applications site such as games, social, gambling, finance, utility, health, etc. To access DApps, click on Menu and then select DApps

The three DApps I would like too use in the future are, Holy Bread, Actifit** and Fundition

Question 5
Please explain how to use quick convert and what is the fee charged for different steem amount for withdrawal?

To use the quick convert, click on Menu and select Quick Convert

Enter the amount of steem you want to convert, choose a currency you want to convert steem to, enter a withdrawal address for the USDT then click create order. Here, I will be the different fees charged for 10, 30, and 50 steem if converted to Tether (TUSD)

From the above screenshot, the fee charged for converting 10 steem to USDT is 1.05954648 USDT which is approximately 1.1 USDT

For converting 30 steem to USDT, the fee would be 1.17864458 USDT which is approximately 1.2 USDT as shown below:

For 50 steem the fee would 1.29774297 USDT which is approximately 1.3 USDT. Screenshot below

Please explain what information is provided by the search feature.

The search feature is one of the components found under the Menu on the homepage of the steemscan.com that allows users to search for steemscan-related information such as Search type and Additional parameters.

To use the search feature, click on Menu and select search then fill in the required information and then click search
