I'm excited to write achievement 2 post, which is about the knowledge of the basic security keys and the Steemit account generally.

To understand the security architecture of Steemit, and the various keys, I have taken time to read a lot of articles related to security. Thus, I've moved to my second achievement post.

Question 1

Have You Retrieved All Your Keys On Steemit?

Yes, I have retrieved all the key, thanks to @utibeoeffiong, who guided me through the registration process.

Question 2

Do You Know Each of the Functions And Restrictions?

Yes, I know the functions of the various keys. I've actually started using some of the keys. In no particular order, the keys and their functions are as follows:

Posting Key.
The posting key is used for logging in, posting, commenting, editing and voting.

Active Key.
This key is used for accessing steemwallet where one performs actions such as transfer of token, powering up, powering down and making withdrawal.

Memo Key.
This key is used for encryption and decryption of private messages.

Master Password.
This is the most powerful key. It is the key used in generating the Steemit account and is therefore used in resetting account password. As a pivotal key to the Steemit account, the Master Password should be kept private because sharing this key with another person can lead to loss of a count.

Owner Key.
This is a very important, and delicate, key. It is delicate because it is used to reset other keys and is also used account recovery.

Question 3

How Do You Intend To Safeguard Your Master Password?

Considering how important the master password is, I have saved a copy of the keys to my drive, even though I have an offline copy in my mobile.

Question 4

Do You Know How To Transfer Your Steem Token To Another Steem User Account?

Yes, I know how to transfer token, thanks to @utibeoeffiongart, though I have not performed the function before. The steps are given below.

1. Go to steemwallet

1. Click the down arrow.
   Once this is done, a drop down menu appears.

1. Click on transfer.
   A window pops up. Fields on this window include the account name from where the transfer is made, the recipient account, amount to be transfered, and the memo key.

4). Enter Memo key and click Next.

Question 5

Do You Know How To Power Up Your Steem?

Yes. The steps are similar to those taken when transferring Steem Token.

1). Go to steemwallet.
2). Click on the down arrow.
3). Click on Power Up on the drop down menu.

4). Enter the amount you intend to power, and click Ok.

In conclusion , I have read, and I understand the basic security and functions such as powering up and token transfer.
