Hi Steemians!
It's just a while ago when a good friend of mine @julstamban introduced me this platform. I'm a hesitant at first since it seems new to me and the way how it works. But what I really like in all of our conversations is that it is not an ordinary platform or social media that others use.
I'm a licensed professional teacher and taught in a private school before but when the pandemic started and ECQ was implemented, things changed. Today, I am now a freelancer who teaches piano online, a YouTuber who has 10.9K subscribers, and a TikTok partner with more than 48K followers.
Aside from posting my videos in YouTube (J CLEF), TikTok, and Facebook, I've been searching for a new platform where I can post my insights and hone my craft in blogging, particularly with music, science, and knowledge related content. It seems that fate led me here in steemit. As a content creator, every content I make is a treasure (to me) and I like how steemit honors the value of everyones work and ideas especially if it helps one another.
The pandemic seems a challenge to everyone to see life with a new perspective. So I grab the opportunity for me to grow and hone my talents and skills at home instead of drowning myself with negativities brought by this reality. Now, I have so much time to create a content, to teach online piano tutorial, and enjoy my work as a freelancer.
Someone said this beautifully, "grow where you planted". It took me four years to realize that music is my passion and could be my career at the same time. I am looking foward for this new opportunity given to me with my journey here in steemit! Once again, I thank @julstamban for introducing this platform to me. Cheers bro!
