Trust you guys are having awesome day today? Thanking you for working with me through making my Achievement posts.
Today I will be making my Achievement 3 posts which borders on the offence of Plagiarism in steemit.

Ordinarily, the offence of plagiarism is a highly prohibited offence in every field of life of which steemit platform is not exempted. Plagiarism is the offence of copying another author's work without referencing the main author. Plagiarism is a very serious offence in steemit and hence every user is encouraged to adhere to the simple rule of giving credit to its image source and idea source either by citation or acknowledgment.

There are different types of plagiarism but I will be explaining few in the list which include:

• Mosaic
• Direct
• Accidental
• Self plagiarism.

I will be explaining them below.

• Self-plagiarism is a type of plagiarism that occurs when you use your own ideas that you used somewhere else before and sharing them on a different platform without consent. It occurs when a student duplicates his or her own work and uses it for different lecturers' project without their permission.

• Mosaic plagiarism, is q type of Plagiarism occurs when one lifts a phrase from an author while having the original meaning of that expression without making reference to the main source. when you take phrases without using quotation marks or a proper paraphrase. To prevent this you should cite your source appropriately.

• Accidental plagiarism happens when someone unintentionally paraphrases or misquotes the source.

• Direct Plagiarism is a word cloning of another author's work without quotation marks.

The following are simple ways to avoid Plagiarism and they are:

• By using plagiarism checker tool.
• By referencing all informations and images used in the steemit platform.
• By simply asking to the use of quotation marks.
• By introducing ones own ideas.
