Greetings to you all, I am here today to talk to you about how to apply markdowns to your content in making it attractive to others. First of all let's say MARKDOWNS are simply, codes you can apply to text, images or videos to change their original appearance or make your work look nice. Let's take a look at how we can apply some of them one after the other.

• APPLYING MARKDOWNS TO OUR TEXT.

• We can make our text bold or italic by using the following commands respectively.

To make your text bold you simply press the * key once at the beginning of your text then * at the end of your text. This is shown below:

The outcome of this will looks like this.

• MAKE TEXT BOLD
  This is similar to how you apply the italic code but the difference is that, the symbol * is pressed twice before and after the text.

• The next we are to look at is applying Headline to our text. This time we going to use the # key then leave a space before the text. The more # keys you type, the smaller the heading. The illustration is below :

• HOWEVER WE CAN ALIGN TEXT INTO TWO CELLS

How to add a link

There are ways you can a link to your content, you can chose to hide it or make it seen.

So immediately you click on source it opens where the picture was downloaded.

• Make it seen: let's say I want to add the link to my profile. I press the @ then my username, the outcome will be : @jebobli. So when you press on it, it opens my profile. The other way you can do this copy th link directly and paste it where you want it to be.
  Example: https://steemit.com/@jebobli
  Again when you click on it,it opens my profile

The last but not the list am going to talk about is how to insert tables.
