Achievement 2: Basic Steemit Security by @joseville

Hello lovely Steemians,
Am glad i have leveled up to this achievement. here i explain my awareness about security on this platform.

Question 1: Have you retrieved all your keys on Steemit?
I have all the keys written somewhere privateand also stored on my "Lastpass"

Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Master key: it claims passwords in steemit. its used to reset all other keys and regain control incase someone else gets hold of the other keys.

Posting key: it is used to perform social actions like posting, commenting, upvoting and downvoting.

Owner key: Used to reset passwords by steemit account owners

Active key: used for monetary and wallet related actions like steeming up and token transfer

Memo Key: it is used for decryption of transfer memos

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
I backed it up on google and stored it in my lastpass

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
yes i do.
open the steemit wallet

and click transfer steem

enter the receiving user account, the steem amount and memo

And finally confirm transaction

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your steem?

of course i do, go to wallet, click on the drop box in the steem category and select power up

Enter the steem amount and select power up

then we are good to go
