Achievement 5 Task 1 by @jueco: Review Steemworld.org

After taking a considerable distance of my journey on the steemit blockchain, I looked back at how it all started, how I completed my achievement1 which was verified but not curated, but I was later compensated on my achievement2.

After all the meditations, I deemed it fit that I must complete my achievement tasks, and with the help of the greeters as @yohan2on, @ngoenyi, here I am making my achievement5 task1.

At the end of my adventure, one should be able to check reward summary for all time, one should also be able to explain in details what delegation is, it's types and process of delegation of sp. One should also be able to check incoming and outgoing votes.

Please join me on this wonderful adventure, as we explore steemworld and provide explanatory answers to the asked questions.

EXPLAIN HOW TO CHECK REWARD SUMMARY FOR ALL TIME, LAST 30DAYS AND LAST 7DAYS

Checking of summary reward for an account is a very easy task, follow along as I explain.

The first step to do is to go to your respective browser and visit www.steemworld.org or click here, after that, the screenshot shown below would be seen

From the above screenshot, you will be required to login with your username and private posting keys inorder to carry out the desired exploration.

The below screenshot will be displayed after you are successfully logged in and you can then carry out your exploration.

The next step to take is to click on your dashboard icon, it will load your hard fork data

after it has loaded successfully, a different page will be displayed on your screen which contains lots of tools which we will explore.

From the above screenshot, on the top left corner is my voting power which is rating 97.04% and right below it is my voting amount arranged in ascending order from 1% – 100%.

It is also of utmost importance to note that the rewards given to a user differs as he exploits his voting power, that is, the earnings from a voting power of 80% differs from that of 50%.
As that of 80% tends to be higher.

As seen above, the next drop down contains

and right below we have some sub icons as seen in the above taken screenshot.

Considering our first task which is to check the reward summary for all time, last 30days and last 7days, we will need to explore the stat icon and below is the screenshot showing the reward analysis for my account.

PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT IS DELEGATION, TYPES OF DELEGATIONS AND HOW TO DELEGATE SP

Well, without prolonging our journey any further, I will love to define what delegation is:

Delegation may be defined as the temporary transfer of steempower from an account to another account inorder to enable the recipient perform some important task in the steemit community such as voting.

Delegation in other words is done to increase the influence one has on the steemit blockchain as steem power tends to give authority to an account.

We also want to note that delegation of steems is different from transferring steems, the differences will be highlighted below.

DELEGATION OF SP	TRANSFER OF STEEM
The delegator can withhold his delegation anytime he wishes	The sender has no control over the steems anymore
The steems still belongs to the delegator	The steems belongs to the receiver
The steems cannot be transferred by the recipient	The steems can be transferred by the recipient

TYPES OF DELEGATIONS

There are two types of delegations and they are:

• INCOMING DELEGATIONS:
  A delegation is termed incoming delegation by the receiver, receiving the delegation.
  An incoming delegation is a delogation of sp received by an account

• OUTGOING DELEGATIONS:
  An outgoing delegation is one that leaves an account into another account.
  

  HOW TO DELEGATE SP

Continuing from the page we were from the above screenshot, all we need to do is to click on delegations which is on the second column and second row on the above screenshot.

After clicking on delegations, the above screenshot will be displayed but I'll focus will be on the screenshot below

From the above screenshot, we will then click on delegate inorder for us to delegate sp.

After the above screenshot has been displayed, we will then fill it completely.

Let's proceed to our next task, as we will provide satisfying answers to the below task

HOW TO CHECK INCOMING AND OUTGOING VOTES

Checking of incoming and outgoing votes is a very interesting task to perform, come along with me as we carryout this task together

To perform this task, we will need to move to the next drop down named account operations, and below we can see differs icons labelled

By clicking on in icon, I then changed the next drop down to comment and vote so that I can see my incoming votes, from the screenshot above, there's no incoming vote for my account, all I had was incoming curation rewards.

By clicking on the out icon, we would see the outgoing votes of an account and this can be seen from the screenshot below

With every explanation properly understood and no misconception, we proceed to the next task

HOW TO CHECK ACCOUNT OPERATIONS FOR THE PAST 7DAYS

Do not tire out, join me as we explore how to check account operations of an account.

To check account operations of an account, we will visit the drop down labelled account operations and under it, we will find some displays, some of which are dated from last 7days till date as shown below

Inorder to check for the account operations of a day, click the respective date and the account operation will be shown

The above screenshots shows my account operations for seven days starting from 31st of August till 24th of August.
There are still many other drop down to explore such as post, coming rewards etc, I imploy you to make exploration of them at your leisure.

We proceed to our next task where we will learn what an author reward is and how to check an author reward and many more

EXPLAIN AUTHOR, CURATION AND BENEFICIARY REWARD. ALSO MENTION AUTHOR AND CURATION REWARD FOR ACCOUNT FOR PAST 7DAYS

AUTHOR REWARD

As the name implies, author rewards are prizes given to the author/writer of a post.
It is the reward given to him for the great content posted by him in the steemit community.

AUTHOR REWARD FOR THE PAST 7DAYS

Moving to the next drop down with the title coming rewards. By clicking on it as the above screenshot shows, we will see sub icons labelled

Author reward	curation reward	benef.reward

Clicking on author reward, we will be shown the author reward for the past seven days just as seen below.

CURATION REWARDS

Curation rewards are the rewards given to a user for voting on another user's post.
Let's imagine I have an so of 3,000,000 and I vote on a user's post, the reward given to the user will be divided into two, half will be given to me as curator reward and the other half will be given to the author as author reward.

CURATION REWARD FOR THE PAST 7DAYS

On that same drop down, click on curation rewards and then click on refresh. After refreshing, your curation rewards for the past 7days will appear.
Below is my curation rewards for seven days from the day the exploration was made.

BENEFICIARY REWARDS

As the name implies, beneficiary rewards are rewards given to one on merit and below are the beneficiary rewards for my account.

From the above screenshot, there are no beneficiary rewards for my account.

We are gradually coming to the end of our exploration as we proceed to the last task on our exploration list.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR UPVOTE VALUE AND AT DIFFERENT VOTING WEIGHT

To check an upvote value for an account, click on the drop down labelled account operations

Then click on vote of the user you want to explore and the voter's name, author's name and voting weight will be displayed.

CONCLUSION

Indeed it is a great privilege to have covered this great length in the steemit community and I say a big thank you for going through my achievement5 task1 post.

As promised, exploring steemworld was indeed a fun-filled event and really educative, but there are more interesting tools to explore, please do so at your leisure time.
