Achievement 2: Basic Security on STEEM

Security is critical for enterprises and organizations of all sizes and in all industries. Weak security can result in compromised systems or data, either by a malicious threat actor or an unintentional internal threat.
Steemit has successfully put in place strong security measures, that can keep one's account safe from being perpetrated.

Question 1:
"Have you retrieved all your keys?"
Yes, I have.

Question 2
“Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?”

Yes. I do.

There are several keys.
Each key has its function and restriction.
They are as follow:

Posting key: This key is needed to perform login actions into social networks, posting, editing, voting, commenting etc. It can't be used for money related actions and must be kept safe😌.

Active key: This key is dedicated for money related actions like transferring and exchanging tokens and also powering STEEM up and down.

Private Owner key: This key is used to reset all other keys. Must be the important key as it can be used to recover stolen or compromised accounts.

Memo key: This key is used to encrypt and decrypt messages.

Public keys: This key is not associated with usernames but is used to encrypt and verify messages.

Question 3
“How do you plan to keep your master password?”

I have it saved in a word document and saved on my email.
I'm pretty sure it's safe there.

Question 4
“Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user account?”

Yes.

To do that you need to follow this process.

1. Open your profile

2. Click on wallet

3. Click on the steem balance
   

4. Click "Transfer"
   

5. Fill in the required spaces, click next. Transaction completed.

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes.

1. Go to profile
2. Click on wallet
3. Click on the steem balance
4. Click "power up"

Then fill in the blank spaces and click power up again, your steem has been powered up! Simple and short
