What is plagiarism?

This is like when an authorizer copies another person's data or his idea of a post and his content and shows the community that this was his own content and does not give any kind of source of his copied content then his content is plagiarism.

So I read many types of plagiarism few of them are given below.

Complete Plagiarism

In this type, the authorizer copies another person's content and he does not give any source then it is called complete plagiarism.

Accidental Plagiarism

In this type, when an authorizer posts content and his content was matched to another person's content accidentally then we called that accidental plagiarism.

Paraphrasing Plagiarism

So in this type when an authorizer copies content and posts it and changes the few common words of the copied content and posts it with no citation.

Self-Plagiarism

In this type, the authorizer copies his own content from his previous posts and posts the content in his new post then without any citation.

Citation

Now I will tell about citation so citation's meaning is when an authorizer copies another person's content so he must have to give its address just like it's a source so we know that from where he picked up the content This is so important for is own safety. So you always have to give the source of any copied content or a photo that was not your own.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence.

Students will benefit from taking an online course which has been developed to provide a useful overview of the issues surrounding plagiarism and practical ways to avoid it.

The necessity to acknowledge others’ work or ideas applies not only to text, but also to other media, such as computer code, illustrations, graphs etc. It applies equally to published text and data drawn from books and journals, and to unpublished text and data, whether from lectures, theses or other students’ essays. You must also attribute text, data, or other resources downloaded from websites.

The best way of avoiding plagiarism is to learn and employ the principles of good academic practice from the beginning of your university career. Avoiding plagiarism is not simply a matter of making sure your references are all correct, or changing enough words so the examiner will not notice your paraphrase; it is about deploying your academic skills to make your work as good as it can be.
