Achievement 2 @kingkco1985 Task: Basic Security on Steem

This post is to answer the required questions about my basic security on steemit of which below are as follow:

1. Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit? Yes, I have gotten all my keys on steemit and I am glad to know the different functions and uses of each one which I think is a very good measure to ensure good security on this amazing platform. I also understand that I should not in any way share my keys with anyone as they are private to me in order to avoid compromising my account.

2. Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions? Certainly, I have come to learn and know each of the functions of the different keys. For instance, my posting key allows me to post, edit, comment, resteem, follow, mute or vote for other users. My active key is quite sensitive and is used for transfering funds and making all sorts of transactions. My owner key as I am meant to understand is the most powerful key in my arsenal as I can use it to change other keys in my account as I was advised to save this key offline. Also, my memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos during funds transactions.

3. How do you plan to keep your master password? I have already printed it out and kept it somewhere safe so that in case anything happens online, I can still have access to it.

4. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account? Yes, I have also learnt this process which is very interesting. To transfer steem tokens to other users, I simply have to go to my wallet section on the top right of the screen and do the needful by clicking on the dropdown menu under STEEM and I will see the transfer option to carry on my transfer as seen in the below pictures. Of course, I have to put the details of who I want to transfer to together with the amount I want to transfer in order to finalize the transaction.

(5) Do you know how to power up your STEEM? Of course, I have been able to also learn about this process which is possible by going to STEEM in my wallet section and clicking on the dropdown menu to carry out the action by selecting Power Up and after that input the amount I want to power up with. For sure, one must have enough liquid steem to be able to do this and below picture shows the process.

Having said all that, I hope I have been able to do justice to these questions and have done the right thing so that others who are reading and don't know how to go through this process can gladly benefit.
