About Myself

Good day to everyone on the Steemit platform. I really feel honored to be part of this great family. I am Kingsley Friday, using @kingsleyr83 as username on this platform.
I am a Nigerian, a native of Ikot Ubo Ubium, a small settlement in the heart of Nsit Ubium Local government area in Akwaibom state.
I presently live in the city of Uyo in Akwaibom state, I am a little new here. I spent more time in Calabar, Cross River State. Though Uyo is both cleaned and calm. I still sometimes miss Calabar and it's attractions like the cultural carnivals that lights up the place towards the end of the year. I also miss the people and their culture.

Education

Primary Education
I schooled at Ironbar Memorial Primary School located along Atu Street, Calabar. It was one of the best among the Private schools in the area. The school could bost of qualified and dedicated teachers.

Secondary Education
After my primary school at Ironbar Memorial, I was admitted into Government Secondary School, Atu in Cross River State, Calabar.
This was where I squired most of the basic skills that keeps me going till this day. That was where I sat for my SSCE.

Occupation

I am a painter and shoe maker. I love painting more when compared to shoe making because it makes my handwork visible to the public and pays better. After converting an unpainted house into a colourful space, it makes my heart skip sometimes.

Hobbies

I really love play foot ball and when I can't play I spend the time watching football.
To me it's also fun to go around seeing places and getting to know about people and their culture. When none of this is available, I go about visiting friends.

How I found Steemit

I got to know of steemit through my friend @manuelhooks. He has been very helpful, providing instruction and needed guidance.

Why I joined Steemit

I think steemit is very educational, I believe I will make a lot of improvement in the area of inteleci and skills if I keep up with steemit.
