INTRODUCTION

Greetings everyone in #newcomers'community,it's such a good thing to complete my achievement 5 task 2 today which talks about reviewing steemscan. One of the major challenges I faced when I first joined steemit is withdrawing my coins and swapping it to the currency if my choice,not until I learnt about steemscan.comonly then did I start running my transactions by myself.

WHAT IS STEEMSCAN?

According to the lectures of @yohan2on,I understood that steemscan is a tool built on steemit blockchain by @futureshock and @roadofrich for easy exchange of steem to other coins like Tron,BTC,and USDT. So steemscan was built on steemit blockchain for the purpose of conversion of steem to other coins.

Here you can find any witness of your choice with their available information and easily cast your vote on them by clicking on the menu icon, then you click on witness as seen in the screenshot above.

LATEST TRANSACTION

The steemscan enables you to see all inferred transactions on the steem block chain like; comments, votes,resteem etc.

DAPPS

This has a compilation of all applications on steem, which gives direction for easy access by any steem user, and further shows all activities running on each application.

HOW TO USE STEEMSCAN EXCHANGE

• Click on menu and select quick convert.

• Enter the amount of steem you want to exchange.
• Choose the Crypto you want to convert your steem to such as USDT, BTC or TRX.
• Enter the withdraw address to which you want your converted crypto to be sent to.
• Click on create order
• Confirm the transaction by entering your active key in the steem login prompt.

Congratulations,you've successfully converted your steem to another crypto if you follow the above listed steps.
