Hello great Steemian, greetings to all my follow Steem members, I'm immensely excited giving Glory to God for connecting me to this awesome platform.
I'm here to write my Achievement 2 which is on Basic Security.

WHAT IS SECURITY?

In my own understanding the word security is an act, quality or state of preventing someone or something from attacks or dangers. So in steemist I will say that security is to help me prevent people from getting access to my Steemit account..

HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS?

Yes, I have retrieved all my keys.
These are the following keys I retrieved:

√ Posting key
√ Active key
√ Owner key
√ Memo key
√ Master password

DO YOU KNOW THE FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF THESE KEYS?

Yes, I know the functions and restrictions of these keys.
The following keys and functions are:

√ Posting key:
I used posting key when I'm posting, commenting, editing, voting, resteeming and following people on Steemit.

√ Active key:
I used active key for transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting seems dollars, joining curation trail and placing a market order.

√ Owner key:
Owner key is used to recover a compromised account.

√ Memo key:
Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

√ Master Password:
The master password is a very vital key that must be kept safe and also helps to generate all other keys and if you lose it, you lose your account completely.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD SAFE?

I'm planning to keep my master password safe in my online google account and also offline by printing it in the hard copy and keep it safe.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR TOKEN TO ANOTHER USER?

Yes, I know..
I'll go to my steem wallet, click on the down arrow close to steem and click on transfer...

After that I'll click on the word transfer, a page will open that'll require the username of the person I want to transfer the steem token to ..

Then I'll click on next to confirm the transaction.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM TOKEN?

yes, I know
I'll go to my steem wallet, click on the down arrow close to steem and click on power Up...

After that I'll click on the word power up and include the amount of the steem token I want to power up.

Then I'll click on Up to confirm the transaction.

CONCLUSION

In my conclusion, I must say that Steemit is the best place for future impart and financial freedom, so it is of important that other steemian keep their keys safe.
