The use of markdown is important when making a presentation. It makes your work look neat and makes it easier to read your post. I am going to be explaining some basic markdown stylings. But I will start by explaining the meaning of markdown styling.

Markdown is a way of styling your text thereby making it neater and easier to read.

• Headlines
  Headlines are very important because it can guide the eye of the reader to key points and it also makes your work presentable.
  To make a headline simply add the 'hash' and space bar then write your heading. You can make your second subheading smaller by adding 2hash. The more you add the hash the smaller you text becomes. For example
  # First Header
  ## second header
  ### third header
  Results to

You can also add three dashes or three equal signs underneath your subheading. This method is only for heading 1 and 2.

•emboldening a text
To make a text bold you all you need to do is to add double asterisk before and after each word.

above example will result to:
sleeping dog

• changing text to italics
  To change a text to italics you need to pit an asterisk before and after each text

The above will result to:
sleeping dog

• Tables
  Yo create a table:
  Write the first header and divide it with pipe from the second header.
  Below put dashes and divide with a pipe
  Start writing below it the cell contents and dividing them with cells.
  Example:

The above example will result to this:

Man	woman
Lion	lioness
Dog	bitch

• To align text into two cells. This means to input your writeup in two different columns. This is what you need to do:

Adding links

To make a steemit username click able you need to include the '@' symbol with the username and that will automatically make the name clickable.
Also when a link is added, it becomes recognised and click able
Example:

That is all for my achievement 4. This task was a bit difficult but thanks to @cryptokannon for her assistance in making it a success.
