Han Yu Jin ZEROBASEONE Swept to Become a K-Pop Idol from the Sports World

Han Yu Jin's childhood, one of the ZEROBASEONE members, apparently was never separated from sports activities. In fact, he spends his time in various sports such as football, basketball, swimming, skating, and taekwondo.
The ZEROBASEONE member, who amazed the judges with his freestyle dance during the Boys Planet audition, has been involved in sports for seven years. He started his work in the world of sports by joining a football team, which he admits did not go smoothly at the start.

"I used to be the worst player on the team," he confessed in an interview with Singles Korea magazine.

"But my father said, I started playing football later than other children, I must be able to catch up. That then burned my spirit," continued Han Yu Jin.

He then practiced continuously until he became the best player on the team. Although in the end he did not continue his career in the sports world, Han Yu Jin was proud of his achievements at that time.

The guy who was born on March 20, 2007 is now debuting as a member of the boy band ZEROBASEONE at the age of just 16 years. He is the maknae of the group and is currently an artist under Yue Hua Entertainment. He lived his days as a trainee since he was 13 years old in this management.

His appearance on Boys Planet managed to steal the attention of the audience so that he could occupy 9th place in the final episode. That position eventually allowed him to debut with ZEROBASEONE.

ZEROBASEONE debuted on July 10 2023 with the formation of nine members: Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han Bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook and Han Yu Jin. The group debuted with a mini album titled Youth in the Shade. The mainstay song on this album is titled In Bloom which features the members having fun feeling first love.

Boys Planet itself is an Mnet survival show, a spin-off from Girls Planet 999 which previously managed to debut the girl group Kep1er.
