Have you ever wondered what writing means to you? Do you get consumed with the passion for writing? Well, to me, writing means being in a whole different world inhabited by words. I am excited and elated to finally join an interesting, enlightening and educative platform where I get to showcase my writing skill, get more exposure from the different community and improve on my skill. Below is my introduction.

ABOUT ME

My name is Mbamara Marita, a Nigerian by nationality, an indigene of the Eastern region precisely Imo state in Ideato North local government area. I am from a family of 6, the last of 4 children bore by Chief and Lolo Celestine Mbamara. I was born and raised in the western part of Nigeria, Lagos state to be precised. I attended both primary and secondary school in Lagos state then traveled to Enugu state in the Eastern part of Nigeria for my tertiary education where I am currently located.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

As I have mentioned above, I attended my primary school at Laurel nursery and primary school, Lagos state. I went further to attend my secondary school in Lagos state at Saint Francis Catholic Secondary School then traveled to Enugu state for my tertiary education where I am an undergraduate at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), currently studying Business Administration/ Management.

HOBBIES

Reading novels, writing and drawing of abstract designs are things I enjoy doing during my pastime. They involve imagination of a fictional world, constructive criticism and appreciation of the beauty of the world respectively which is something that allows one’s mind to escape to a world filled with love, dreams and aspirations.

I also love listening to different genre of music as each genre has its significance and role to play in my everyday life activities. Music is one hobby of mine that helps soothe my mood and uplift my spirit especially the Gospel music.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT

I would like to thank and appreciate @ceendy20 for giving me this opportunity to gain awareness about this community and platform. At first hearing about steemit and how it operates, it piqued my interest in knowing more about it. I was not skeptical about it rather I got excited in trying it out. I mean, it doesn’t require you to network before gaining; rather it provides an opportunity to build your potential while making it fun and financially beneficial.

Finally, I would like to appreciate @steemblog and @cryptokannon for giving me this opportunity to acquire more knowledge and finding new means to apply the skills acquired. I appreciate everyone in this great community for having me here and I look forward in having a wonderful, fun filled and enticing experience and journey on steemit.
