According to my own understanding, plagiarism refers to presenting someone's work,ideas or expressions without his or permission and incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. Plagiarism is done recklessly, intensionally or unintentionally.

Plagialism is also said to be a source of theft since one can get use of someone's work or ideas which is also said to be robbery or theft.

There are different types of ways were different people practice plagiarism which include the following;

DIRECT PLAGIARISM:
Direct plagiarism refers to the word to word subscription of a section in someone's work,idea, expressions and among others without attribution and quotation marks.

SELF PLAGIARISM;
Self plagiarism refers to the use of one's own previous work in another context without citing that it was used previously.An example of self plagiarism is a republished text.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
Mosaic plagiarism refers when a person borrows text or a phrase without using quotation marks.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
Accidental plagiarism is when a person unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words or groups of words without attribution.

Plagiarism is highly prohibited on steemit.
