Greeting steemians. Having completely Achievement 1, here I am doing 2:
You are welcome to my blog today. Not withstanding my achievements2 task, I took the step to write in my understanding on steemit security system and implied security measures used.

Basic Security in Steemit

On the Steem blockchain, every account has its own keys which is indispensable. Steemit has a very high security system in which the account of its members are highly secured using 5 permission keys which has different functions, thereby protecting it from unauthorized users.

Steemit keys are five and these are permission keys that allows you perform certain functions on Steemit. These five permission keys are,

• Active key

• Posting key

• Memo key

• Owner key

• Master key of which owner key and master key is very important.

• Posting key:
  Posting key is the first key that create a room to the Steem blockchain though steemit has other key used to access your steem wallet
  Posting key is used for various functions such as, publishing content, commenting, upvoting and downvoting. This is what we actually use to login on the Steemit platform.Muting a post and following users is done through posting key.

• Active key:
  It is the only key that authorizes you to accomplish monetary related actions on your wallet. It is indispensable to all other keys because its give you access to your tokens. If lost it can't be recovered and you will lose your tokens.

• Owner key
  With this key, you can regain your lost account
  Owner key is use for resetting active and posting keys. It can be used to reclaim a compromised account.

• Memo key:
  for decrypting and encrypting Private information such as messages and transactions on the blockchain.

• Master key: This key controls all other keys and it is the first key you'll be given to download others. It needs to be saved well.

I have saved it in a pdf and secured it by coding.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?.

In view of this 👆, I have understood how to transfer steem token to another account. below you would find a proof on how to go about it.

• Step 1

Visit your steem wallet and click on any of the token you would like to transfer, and click on a drop down menu below.

Step 2

Click on transfer, menu will show up showing recipient and amount of Steem to sent.

• You input the necessary requirements and next

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your liquid steem?

Foremost, login to Steemit, in your wallet page. Click on the drop down arrow close to Steem.

Next, Input the amount of Steem you want to power up and click on ok.
