I will like to discuss the various STEEMIT keys that were given to us during our STEEMIT sing up process.
Before going forward I like to answer some important question

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I saved hardcopy of the master password on my computer and phone also saved in Gdrive for better safety

This discussion includes all types of keys and their functions:-

TYPES OF KEYS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

Owner's Key:

This key used to recover stolen accounts or for changing keys. It's the most powerful security key. It is strongly advised to be stored offline.

Posting Key;

This key enables users to post, reply, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or unfollow other users. It is also recommended that users use the posting key to log in to Steemit every day.

Active Key

This key helps users in monetary transactions such as send money, perform power up/down transactions, convert steem dollars, vote for witnesses, update profile information, and place a market order.

Memo Key;

This key used to encrypting and decrypting private messages sent on the Blockchain.

Apart from the key, there is one more important thing is MASTER PASSWORD, which is the one that was given when you register on steem platform, and it should be kept secret because it can be used to access the account and create additional keys as well.

I will also like to show you how to transfer steem tokens to another steem user account in simple steps.

Step 1:-

Click on your profile icon which is on the right corner of the navbar. Your wallet link will pop up in the resulting tab. Click on it.

Step 2:-

Once you're in your wallet, click on your Steem balance and choose the option "Transfer"

Step 3:-

after clicking on transfer you will see the below popup. It is compulsory to fill below form to complete the transfer.

After transfer, I like to cover the topic of how to power up your STEEM in few simple steps:-

Step 1:-

Click on your profile icon which is on the right corner of the navbar. Your wallet link will pop up in the resulting tab. Click on it.

Step 2:-

Click on the "power up" option.

Step 3:-

Just enter how much steem amount you want to spend on power up and click on the power up button.
