Achievement Two Post By @muda1, Basic Security On Steemit.

Greetings to everyone here,
I am soo sorry for the delay in posting on the achievement 2. I was engaged with some lectures on steemit security tips. Anyway, I'm here to complete my post on the achievement 2. It was nice going through the lecture on the achievement 2 post, although I was having a little knowledge on that but going through that add up more to my knowledge on the achievement 2 post.

Question; Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes I did. I retrieve all my steemit keys the very day I created the account. For privacy and easy access to the keys I stored them on to my Gmail account just to have easy access wherever I find myself.

Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions ?
I have devoted some time to learn about those keys and I'm much sure that I know all the keys and their respective functions and restrictions as well. Lets begin with the;
Active Key
The active key is use to transfer funds, voting for witness, power up or down transactions, converting of steem dollars, placing a market order and updating profile details and avatar.
Memo key
This key is use for encrypting and decrypting memos when sending funds.
Posting key
Posting key enables accounts to post, vote, comment, edit, resteem, follow, and mute other accounts. Immediately you login with the posting key all the above mentioned is allowed.
Owner key
This is the most powerful key among the keys. It can change any key of an account including the owner key. It is good to store it offline and only use to recover compromised account.

How do you plan to keep your master password?
My master password is very important to me so far as my accounts is concern. I have stored my master password in my google drive and personal computer as well. I have also written it on my diary book and placed it in a safe place.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes I know how to forward steem tokens to another steem user account. This is done with a number of steps which are listed below;

1. Left click on the avatar icon to show a drop down menu.
2. Click on wallet.
3. Click on the arrow pointed down on steem.
4. From the menu that appears, type the username of the account you are to forward the tokens to.
5. Click on next, then confirm.

Do you know how to power up your steem?
Yes I do know how to power up my steem and below are the steps involved;

1. Go to profile
2. Click on wallet
3. Click on the arrow pointing down on steem.
4. Click on power up
5. Indicate the amount you want to power up and click the power up to confirm.
